EDU482 Integrating Mathematics and Literacy

Prepares mathematics teachers to capitalize on reading, writing, and other forms of literacy to enhance their students’ learning of mathematics. As students engage as learners in literacy-rich instructional experiences dealing with challenging mathematical topics, they also further their understanding of some fundamental mathematical concepts and ideas. (Meets content-pedagogy requirement for professional teaching certification).
